Hertz are now offering the Lotus Elise SC for hire in Italy
Hertz and Lotus have the answer – drive a Lotus Elise to show the Italians they’re not the only ones to make a cracking two seater (and a lot cheaper). Hertz has teamed up with Lotus to offer a fleet of bright yellow Lotus Elise SC at select outlets throughout Italy from the middle of this month. True to say you could probably have hired yourself a Lotus before to trolly round Italy, but with a big car hire company like Hertz in on the plan you can be pretty sure there will be a lot of takers.

Saab will enter the premium hatch market around 2010, with the production version of this 9-X Biohybrid concept. Unveiled at a sneak preview on the eve of the Geneva Motor Show, the 9-X Biohybrid is a sleek, three-door hatch. It’s a rival for Audi’s A3 Sportback, BMW 1-series – and the Toyota Prius!
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles outlined its plans for the next five years on Tuesday. Not to be outdone, Porsche revealed some interesting tidbits about the next three years on Thursday. To start: Porsche will produce several 700-hp hybrid versions of its Panamera sedan and stalwart 911.
